Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Al Buraymi. As an integral part of our office, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our operations.

Job Description:

As an Administrative Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our office
  • Greeting and assisting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, including ordering new supplies as needed
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow
  • Tracking office expenses and managing reimbursements
  • Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and data entry
  • Maintaining physical and electronic filing systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as an Administrative Support Specialist, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus
  • Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
