Role Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Accounting Professional to manage our finances effectively, ensuring accurate information is provided to both the Finance function and the wider business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing financial information from accounts payables and expenses, utilizing our company ERP system.

This role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing. It also requires maintaining accurate records, updating beneficiary/payee details, and controlling petty cash and credit card payments per company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and tracking invoices from receipt to payment, updating stakeholders on status, and ensuring timely processing as per agreements
  • Preparing payment vouchers, verifying supporting documents, ensuring compliance with company policies, and processing various payment methods (wire transfers, cheques, online payments)
  • Reviewing bank transactions, maintaining accurate records, updating beneficiary/payee details, controlling petty cash and credit card payments per company guidelines, and supporting operations by providing financial tools like credit cards, managing overdrafts, and LC settlements
  • Entering payments into the ERP system, reconciling processed work, verifying system reports, and ensuring accurate financial tracking
  • Monitoring daily cash position, coordinating with the collections team for cash inflow forecasts, and monitoring interest payment due dates and ensuring adequate funds are available
  • Preparing accounts payable aging reports, vendor reconciliations, monitoring Capex vendor statements, ensuring, and overseeing payment disbursements according to top management approval
  • Tracking LC-related invoices, maintaining records, and monitoring its maturity dates with FP&A
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, cash movement reports, assisting with internal and external audits, and responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in reporting, systems, and processes to increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance department
  • Maintaining records of processed invoices with supporting documents for quick reference and compliance
  • Managing withholding tax (WHT) requirements, ensuring tax optimization, and maintaining payments liable to WHT and exemptions under DTAA (Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement)
