The Kitchen Team Leader plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. As a member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting senior chefs in menu planning and food preparation, to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed, to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Training and supervising junior staff members, to develop their skills and build confidence.
  • Overseeing the preparation and plating of dishes during service hours, presenting our cuisine at its best.
  • Adjusting recipes as needed to meet dietary restrictions or customer preferences, providing an exceptional dining experience.
  • Communicating effectively with other staff members, to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques, through continuous training and professional development.
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming, setting an example for your colleagues.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who can lead our kitchen team with confidence and expertise. Key qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience in food preparation and recipe development, with a focus on innovation and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
  • Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
