The Role of a Project Manager in Civil Engineering Design
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead a portfolio of civil engineering design projects. This role involves managing various projects, from specialized studies to major infrastructure developments, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage civil engineering design projects covering transportation, water resources, geotechnical, and coastal/marine aspects.
- Develop project plans that outline scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, CAD technicians, and specialists.
- Collaborate with finance to track budgets, manage expenses, and invoicing.
- Act as primary contact for clients and stakeholders, providing clear updates and handling changes.
- Identify risks and apply mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with standards, codes, regulations, and client specifications.
- Deliver concise reports and design documentation.
