Restaurant Managers play a pivotal role in the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel, along with excellent knowledge of beverages and fluency in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems is also essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining international brand standards, preparing financial reports, controlling departmental costs, managing staffing costs, assisting in budget preparation, overseeing standard implementation, adhering to operational procedures, conducting shift briefings, motivating staff to deliver exceptional service, sharing guest feedback, and developing promotional calendars.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Trader Vic's international brand standards.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Control and analyze departmental costs.
  • Manage staffing costs through efficient scheduling.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring the departmental annual budget.
  • Oversee the implementation of standards.
  • Adhere to opening, closing, and billing procedures.
  • Conduct shift briefings.
  • Motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Share guest feedback with the culinary and management teams.
  • Develop and execute Promotions Calendar for Food and Beverage.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing); Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Micros operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
