
Business Development Representative

Chef Middle East, a leading foodservice company in the region, is currently seeking a Sales Executive to promote its products and services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers proactively.
- Maintain contact with new and existing customers to advertise product sales and deliver detailed account strategies.
- Deliver presentations of company products at conferences, customer sites, and exhibitions.
- Meet annual sales goals and targets.
- Manage the company's contact database with up-to-date contact, accurate, and activity details.
- Deliver platform presentations, publications, and posters at conferences.
- Produce monthly sales reports.
- Test new product releases to support product development teams.
- Provide feedback on potential customers and members to enhance product functioning and service delivery.
- Ensure effective internal communication within the Sales, Marketing team, and Customer Support across the company.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for upcoming products and development/enhancement of existing products.
- Motivate sales staff to share relevant market data facilitating information retrieval, recording, and use.
- Negotiate agreement terms and close sales.
- Monitor and report potential collaborators and competitor activities, identifying business threats and opportunities.
- Minimize expiry products by set target.
- Comply with HACCP & ISO procedures at all times.
- Attend meetings or training courses as required.
Key Qualifications:
- College/University diploma or 2-3 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years related experience in customer-associated sales.
- Familiarity with current software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with food products line and customer base.
- Valid driving license in location where employment will be placed.
