Job Summary

The Business Development Officer is a crucial role that plays a vital part in supporting operations, focusing on the Braxtone Club Program, expanding our service provider network, and strengthening business relationships with clients.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure seamless office operations, including filing, report generation, meeting and presentation preparation, and office supply ordering. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in digital media advertising and event planning, and familiarity with the Omani business environment and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Administrative Support: Provide assistance in maintaining a well-organized office, ensuring efficient operations, and preparing reports.
  2. Customer Interaction: Manage incoming phone calls, schedule meetings, and facilitate visitor interactions to build strong relationships with clients.
  3. Business Development: Expand the service provider network, collect funds from participating garages, and enroll new service providers in the program.
  4. Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze collected data to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  5. Marketing Strategies: Source new product suppliers and promote the company through effective marketing strategies.
  6. Trend Analysis: Analyze market data and trends to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and opportunities.
  7. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across various industries, including insurance, brokers, rental cars, and agencies.
  8. Event Planning: Organize events and promotions to enhance sales and brand awareness in Oman.
  9. Account Management: Secure new accounts for RSA programs and related activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in administrative support and business development roles.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Research and Analysis: Ability to conduct market research and effectively analyze data.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Digital Media Advertising: Proficiency in digital media advertising and event planning.
  • Omani Business Environment: Familiarity with the Omani business environment and regulations.
Working Conditions

This role requires a typical working week of 45 hours, with standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required, as well as occasional business trips outside Oman.
