Job Title: Senior Strategic HR Business Partner

This role acts as a strategic partner in delivering impactful solutions in workforce planning, employee relations, policy compliance, payroll oversight, and the management of employee programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to translate business strategies into people initiatives.
  • Provide HR guidance and solutions that support operational goals.

Policy Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies are consistently applied, updated, and aligned with labor laws and company objectives.
  • Provide advisory support on disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and process adherence.

Payroll Oversight & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate, timely processing of salaries, incentives, and allowances.
  • Validate payroll inputs, including overtime, leaves, and job changes.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee concerns.

Staff Credit Facility Management:

  • Oversee the administration of employee loan and salary advance programs within policy guidelines.
  • Ensure timely processing of applications, proper documentation, approvals, and coordination with payroll for accurate deduction schedules.
  • Work with Finance and relevant stakeholders to monitor balances and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Talent & Performance Management:

  • Drive talent development and succession planning within Operations.
  • Guide managers in setting performance expectations, coaching, and career development planning.

Employee Engagement & Relations:

  • Promote a positive work environment by addressing grievances and fostering open communication.
  • Lead engagement initiatives tailored for the bank.

HR Data & Reporting:

  • Use HR metrics to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, payroll impact, and credit facility utilization.
  • Recommend data-driven improvements in HR practices and employee services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years as an HRBP or similar strategic HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll processes, and employee loan/credit programs.
  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws and employee benefits administration.
