Accounting Lectures Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished academic with expertise in Accounting to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong teaching background and the ability to deliver high-quality lectures on Audit, Professional Ethics, Business Tax, Tax Policy, and Personal Tax, as well as Strategic Management Accounting modules.

The selected individual will work closely with the Faculty Director to ensure efficient delivery of modules and maintain curriculum management standards. A Master's degree in Accounting is required for the Lecturer position, while a PhD in Accounting or a closely related field is necessary for the Senior Lecturer rank.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supervising research projects, enhancing collaborative activities with industry, and publishing leading-edge research through internationally recognized journals.

We value diversity and expect our faculty members to uphold these principles. Possessing an ACCA qualification and/or ACCA experience is desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching experiences on specified modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Liaise with the Faculty Director on student matters, including timetabling, academic, and technical support.
  • Undertake research and scholarly activities to publish in refereed international academic journals.
  • Engage with external bodies and industry to enrich the student experience.
  • Maintain flexible working patterns to support program, faculty, and university business.
