Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to accelerate the execution of digital transformation projects at government entities in Muscat, Oman.

  • The ideal candidate will work under the leadership of client leaders and be responsible for implementing digital transformation initiatives across various government agencies in alignment with the nation's strategic goals.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting workshops and reviews to ensure alignment of each initiative with respective owners and stakeholders, influencing and encouraging government agencies to adopt changes in approaches and processes, and providing advice to senior management on strategic decisions relating to digital transformation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Accelerate the execution of digital transformation projects at government entities.
  • Implement digital transformation initiatives across various government agencies.
  • Conduct workshops and reviews to ensure alignment of each initiative.
  • Influence government agencies to adopt changes in approaches and processes.
  • Provide advice to senior management on strategic decisions.
  • Pose a specific approach to knowledge transfer of government agency staff.
  • Support government agencies in understanding their annual digital transformation targets.
  • Measure and report on government agencies' progress.
  • Help government agencies improve their performance in the digital transformation roadmap.
  • Make relevant recommendations for government agencies to improve their performance.
  • Work with staff to identify areas of improvement in digital government transformation and services.
  • Report on work performed at government agencies on an agreed basis.
Requirements
  • Strong project management background preferably with PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives across government or public sector entities.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation concepts strategies and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to oversee training logistics scheduling and reporting.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and service delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Understanding of government structures protocols and approval processes is an advantage.
