We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Health Club Attendant to join our team at voco Muscat Al Mouj.

The Health Club Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience of our wellness and fitness facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests warmly and assisting with inquiries or requests related to the health club facilities.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all areas, including locker rooms, treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, gym areas, and poolside (if applicable).
  • Replenishing towels, water stations, toiletries, and other amenities as needed.
  • Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms or fitness class spaces according to operational standards.
  • Monitoring locker room supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring the facility is clean and safe at all times.
  • Providing support to spa therapists, fitness instructors, and other team members as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, especially in wet areas (steam rooms, saunas, pools).
  • Assisting in managing guest flow and maintaining a calm and serene environment.
  • Maintaining inventory levels of supplies and notifying management of low stock.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions, cleanliness issues, or guest feedback to the Spa or Health Club Manager promptly.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, spa, gym, or hospitality environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks such as lifting towels, moving furniture, and standing for long periods.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
