Bachelor of Commerce degree is preferred for this role. We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable with experience in collections.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial accuracy.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic financial planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to meet financial obligations.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices for compliance and process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commerce graduate or similar degree required.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in specified roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal for stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and listening.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines is essential.
  • High level of integrity and ethics in handling confidential financial information is mandatory.
