Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Production Manager in planning, production, design, and process engineering at our Sohar manufacturing facility to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and with high quality.
  • Create job orders and report production in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with personnel, vendors, and customers to align production and shipping activities with schedules.
  • Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
  • Provide engineering support for production and maintenance to maximize output.
  • Interpret complex product drawings for shopfloor staff.
  • Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) estimates for new or existing products.
  • Update and analyze data to minimize downtime and outages.
  • Coordinate support across departments for shopfloor activities and priorities.
  • Work with Shift Leaders and operators to execute shopfloor plans.
  • Train and guide team members to meet production goals.
  • Develop best practices to enhance capacity, quality, and reliability.
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Conduct departmental meetings to discuss updates, policies, and goals.
  • Ensure employees understand the code of conduct, job descriptions, and product standards.
  • Coordinate On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new employees.
  • Perform internal audits per API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Motivate employees to perform professionally and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing planning, quality assurance, and production activities.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience with composites products and equipment is advantageous.
