Financial Operations Manager

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high degree of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and collaboration. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our financial operations and investor reporting efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting. You will also have excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations, preparing investor-ready monthly financial reports, partnering with the CEO and founders on financial strategy and capital planning, supporting ongoing and future fundraising activities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations, tax filings, and financial governance standards, building internal financial systems and workflows, coordinating with auditors, external accountants, and legal teams when necessary, developing dashboards and internal reports to track key financial and operational metrics, supporting compensation planning, ESOP modeling, and resource allocation strategy, and bringing financial discipline to procurement, vendor management, and expense oversight.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have prior experience working with or within early-stage startups and tech companies, a strong grasp of investor reporting, fundraising, and startup financial modeling, high proficiency in financial tools (Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks/Xero, or equivalents), familiarity with SaaS metrics, burn/runway tracking, and equity planning, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
