Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. As a qualified Cardiac Sonographer, you will support cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating heart and blood vessel conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnostic Testing: Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and treadmill stress testing.
  2. Assist in Echocardiography Procedures: Assist in echocardiography and other cardiac imaging procedures.
  3. Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for cardiac procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
  4. Test Reporting: Monitor patients during testing and report abnormal results to physicians.
  5. Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain and calibrate cardiology equipment.
  6. Documentation: Document test results accurately and input data into electronic medical records (EMR).
  7. Emergency Response: Assist in emergency procedures such as defibrillation or resuscitation.
  8. Infection Control and Safety: Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using medical diagnostic equipment and EMR systems.
