Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled billing expert to design, implement and optimize billing and invoicing solutions using finance and operations software.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in billing, invoicing, subscription management and financial transactions within the industry standard platform.

  1. Design and configure optimal billing models, pricing structures and payment processing in finance and operations software.
  2. Customize and optimize billing cycles, recurring invoices and financial reconciliation to streamline processes.
  3. Ensure seamless integration between customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, financial systems and payment gateways for efficient data exchange.
  4. Develop automated workflows for billing automation, tax calculations and revenue recognition.
  5. Support subscription-based, consumption-based and contract-based billing models with expertise in tax policies and regulations.
  6. Collaborate closely with business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for billing optimization, tax compliance and revenue growth.
  7. Guarantee compliance with financial regulations, security standards and industry best practices.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot billing-related issues, performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies for swift resolution.
  9. Assist in system upgrades, migrations and custom reporting for financial analytics and decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance and operations software with a focus on billing and invoicing.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes, accounts receivable, revenue recognition and payment processing.
  • Expertise in Power Platform, Power Automate and Dataverse for billing automation.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, .NET and SQL Server for customizations and integrations.
  • Experience integrating finance and operations software with payment gateways, ERP and third-party financial systems.
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models and financial regulations (IFRS, GAAP, VAT, tax policies etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
