Chef de Cuisine Job Description

As a leading culinary professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated kitchen outlet or specialty restaurant.

  • Develop menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, incorporating creativity and seasonal ingredients to meet guest preferences.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and appearance of dishes to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise and coach kitchen staff, communicating expectations and performance goals clearly.
  • Conduct daily briefings and monitor productivity to maximize service quality.

You will work collaboratively with Food & Beverage leadership to support the hotel's culinary vision and guest satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional culinary experience, preferably in a senior Sous Chef role in a high-volume or upscale restaurant/hotel.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing culinary teams.
  • Excellent understanding of international cuisine, culinary trends, and plating techniques.
