Job Title

A Senior Culinary Professional is required to join our team in a dynamic hotel kitchen.

  • As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will be tasked with maintaining high levels of employee morale and motivation, as well as contributing to the development of new menu ideas and recipes.

Responsibilities:

  • Mise-en-place production and service coordination with the Chef de Partie
  • Taking orders from the Chef de Partie and executing tasks in accordance with recipe specifications
  • Completing daily checklists regarding mise-en-place and food storage
  • Attending daily and monthly meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and other relevant stakeholders
  • Maintaining good employee relations and motivating colleagues
  • Assisting in the composition of new recipes and menu ideas
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies relating to fire, hygiene, and safety

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification from a recognized culinary school
  • At least two years' experience in all areas of a hotel kitchen
  • Excellent customer service, team, interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and cohesively within a team under pressure in a fast-paced environment
