Lead Quality and Sustainability Expert

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality management and environmental strategies that promote sustainability across railway construction and operations. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to improve operational performance, reduce environmental impact, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management and environmental strategies that align with corporate objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with quality and environmental regulations in the UAE and Oman, as well as international standards.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives to minimize the environmental footprint of constructions and operations, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation efforts.
  • Enhance operational performance through quality control and environmental management systems, ensuring continual improvement and adherence to best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in quality and/or environmental management, preferably within the transportation or rail industry.
  • Proven track record of leading quality and environmental initiatives that drive performance improvement and sustainability.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage regulatory compliance and audits. Certification in quality and environmental management is highly desirable. Ability to travel across project sites in the UAE and Oman is also required.
