Job Opportunity: Governance and Compliance Specialist

Job Description

As a Governance and Compliance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are aligned with program objectives and company goals. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with stakeholders to implement standardized processes, ensure project documentation is accurate and compliant, and support the Head of Department in setting quality benchmarks.

You will also be responsible for monitoring program and project performance metrics, tracking progress against key milestones, and providing regular updates to the Head of Department. Additionally, you will perform periodic quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables, validate accuracy of projects and maintenance reporting, and execute vendor's performance assessment and delivery quality.

Furthermore, you will provide data and reports within IPM periodically as requested, highlighting areas of improvement. You will identify and flag potential project risks, manage risk identification within ongoing programs and projects, and follow-up on corrective actions implementation to solve issues where possible.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Omani National.
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Quality Management, business administration or any related field.
  • Minimum of five work experience related to Quality control & management or project control.
  • Experience in policy compliance, internal audits, and working with cross-functional teams.
