Job Overview:

  • This role combines strategic and operational aspects of card product support and Islamic portfolio management.
  • A successful candidate will have a strong background in both areas and the flexibility to adapt to dynamic business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the portfolio, encompassing activation, increasing spend (within the country and internationally), and expansion for traditional and Islamic financial services.
  • Enhance current products and transition processes to digital platforms, including customer onboarding and card activation.
  • Oversee initiatives aimed at activating and augmenting expenditure on card products.
  • Craft plans to boost card usage and elevate transaction numbers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns that increase card utilization.
  • Analyze customer expenditure trends to identify opportunities for advancement.
  • Coordinate with involved parties to ensure seamless operations and address potential complications.
  • Track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of migration and activation operations.
  • Synchronize updates with internal collaborators like IT, legal, and marketing teams.
  • Foster existing alliances and develop new partnerships to promote growth within the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in card products business development in conventional and/or Islamic banking.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end card product launch or revamp projects independently.
  • Knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and product launches in the Islamic banking and payments market.
  • Experience in communicating and interacting with senior stakeholders for periodic updates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
