Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager

This is a challenging role that requires a strong leader to oversee the organization's Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HSE regulations and standards, as well as excellent leadership and team management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and management systems. This will include conducting workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, they will design and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels, with an emphasis on road safety and transport operations.

The HSE Manager will also lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations. They will ensure compliance with HSE regulations and international standards, coordinate emergency response planning, and maintain comprehensive HSE documentation. Furthermore, they will drive initiatives to promote a safety-conscious culture across the organization, particularly within logistics and transport functions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in road safety and land transport. A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Health and Safety or Environmental Science, is also required. Experience in the oil and gas sector is highly desirable, as is experience working in Oman or the GCC region.
