
Sales and Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to sell a product or service that meets the needs of clients. This involves understanding the client from a business perspective, identifying the point of contact to crack the deal, and maintaining client contact data.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer mapping: Identify opportunities to sell a product or service best suited to the needs of clients.
- Solution designing: Propose a suitable solution to the client based on their needs, ensuring timely collection and coordination with internal teams.
- Client communication: Make technical presentations to demonstrate how a product will meet client needs, solving client problems throughout the process/project.
- Closing the deal: Analyze cost and sale, negotiate contract terms, and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
- MIS: Prepare timely reports, quotation follow-ups, and timely updating in CRM.
- Interdepartmental coordination & collaboration: Coordinate with Sales Support, Project management team, Estimation, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics as well as Plants people for smooth execution of the project.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Experience in Oman market is highly preferred.
- Project sales/Value-based selling, Direct, Institutional Sales, OEM preferred.
- Experience in specifying products with consultants is an added advantage.
- Selling to civil contracting companies, MOT, ROP, various ministries, municipalities is an added advantage.
- Steel Manufacturing Industry experience is a must.
