Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead our industrial sector initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in product management, technical expertise, and strategic thinking.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the product vision and strategy for our industrial sector offerings. This includes identifying market opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying market opportunities and developing go-to-market strategies to drive engagement and promote the open source paradigm.
- Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to address common challenges across projects, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep business execution on track.
- Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends to identify opportunities and ensure alignment with our overall vision.
- Communicating the product vision and status updates to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Conducting usability testing and iterating on the product to improve the user experience.
- Contributing to the success of our sales team by reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Solid knowledge of Linux and the wider Open Source Software community.
- A strong background in software engineering and project management.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Commercial astuteness for pricing and product strategy.
- A strong sense of ownership and a willingness to take responsibility.
- Very good communication skills in English.
- Able to think outside the box and solve problems creatively.
