Key Responsibilities

This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient management of cash transactions.

  • Handle daily cash transactions, including collections and disbursements.
  • Count, record, and deposit cash securely and accurately.
  • Verify petty cash funds for operational needs and process vouchers and reimbursements.
  • Record payments from guests and colleagues.

Cash Management: Reconcile cash drawers, maintain adequate change funds, and prepare cash receipts in a timely manner.

Financial Reporting: Generate reports related to cash transactions and provide data to the Finance Manager for analysis.

Security and Compliance: Implement cash control procedures, ensure financial regulations compliance, and report any discrepancies or irregularities.

Collaboration: Foster open communication and cooperation among team members.

Environmentally Friendly Operations: Prioritize guests', colleagues', and environmental safety and conservation.

Hotel Procedures: Adhere to hotel policies and procedures related to cash handling, health, safety, and environmental conservation.
