Job Description

The IT industry is seeking a Compliance Engineer to support the governance and strategic planning of its operations.

The role involves contributing to the economic development of Oman by supporting the housing and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing protocols for issue resolution.
  • Defining operational readiness checklists for each project phase.
  • Developing security policies for the ecosystem.
  • Aligning governance structures with regulatory requirements and compliance needs.
  • Conducting workshops and aligning workflows with compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Compliance Engineer.
  • Experience as a compliance and security consultant.
  • Experience in the banking industry.
  • Experience in establishing frameworks within an organization.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
  • Ability to conduct audits, gap analyses, and assessments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English or above.
