System Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled MEP Systems Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and experience in MEP design and project management.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of building services engineering, including HVAC, ELV, plumbing, and electrical systems. They will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive MEP systems that meet project specifications and regulatory standards.

This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with designers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to various audiences.

As a key member of the team, the MEP Systems Designer will oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. They will also perform site inspections and audits to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and specifications using advanced software like AutoCAD and Revit, as well as coordinating with contractors and subcontractors for timely project execution. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and familiar with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive MEP systems
  • Conduct detailed load calculations for HVAC, ELV, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to integrate MEP systems into building designs

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalents
  • Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on experience in MEP design and project management
  • Proven track record in interior design and fit-out projects
  • Experience in using design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP-related tools
  • Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling)
  • Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills in English
