Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Engineer with a strong background in the air-conditioning industry, specializing in Split ACs, Cassettes, Ducted ACs, and Commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Oman market, proven expertise in solution selling, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with consultants, contractors, and key accounts.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and market intelligence to drive revenue growth and strengthen our brand presence across Oman.
Key Responsibilities
:
Sales & Business Development
• Drive sales of residential, light commercial, and commercial AC solutions (Split, Cassette, Ducted, VRF, and packaged units).
• Identify, develop, and close business opportunities with contractors, consultants, and project developers.
• Proactively pursue new project leads, prepare technical proposals, and deliver competitive quotations.
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with business objectives.
Client & Market Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, MEP contractors, government bodies, and key clients.
• Conduct regular client visits to present solutions, provide technical clarifications, and offer value engineering.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and upcoming projects.
Technical & Solution Expertise
• Provide clients with accurate technical selection, system design input, and product application advice.
• Support tendering process by reviewing project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Liaise with internal technical teams and principals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and product training to consultants and customers.
Project Coordination & Support
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and installation support.
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure smooth execution, client satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Support after-sales activities by coordinating with service teams for commissioning and warranty issues.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 3 years in Oman.
• Strong knowledge of Split ACs, Cassettes, Ducted ACs, VRF/VRV systems, and commercial HVAC solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Solid understanding of Oman's HVAC market, regulations, and tendering process.
• Valid Oman driving license
Skills & Competencies
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC design and applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong network with consultants, contractors, and dealers in Oman.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
