Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Muscat. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, assisting with corporate tax filing, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. The role also includes supporting audits, maintaining accurate records, and providing assistance with financial analyses and budgets. Collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial operations is also expected.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field/ACCA Part Qualified
  • Bookkeeping, Financial reporting, and VAT compliance skills
  • Understanding of corporate tax filing processes and regulations
  • Experience in conducting audits and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and perform financial analyses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Tally accounting software and MS Office suite
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
