Position: Field Operations Readiness Engineer

Job Description:

The Field Operations Readiness Engineer shall:

  • Provide operations requirement into the project in accordance with the standards (OPMG, OR&A Global Process).
  • Detail the operations requirement into design PEFS, P&ID, HAZOP, SAFOP, IPF.
  • Participate in reviews of the plant design to ensure it provides an ergonomic, functional and fit-for-purpose facility, and simple to operate. Participate in other innovative studies and activities to ensure that operability, maintainability and integrity issues are properly addressed and optimized.
  • Apply best practices processes in the detail design.

Education , Experience & Skills:

Degree in Process Engineering or Bachelor of Science and relevant experience Oil & Gas and energy sector.

  • 8-10 years in upstream / midstream / downstream commissioning, start-up and operations experience, particularly commissioning & start-up experience of large / medium size capital projects.
  • Personnel to have exposure and be conversant with operation and maintenance of wells and facilities, analyse assets and activity performance, evolve development concepts, understand HSE , manage Interfaces, project management, sour hydrocarbon experience.

Ensuring that Operations procedures are produced in accordance with the best practice in a timely manner.
