Job Description

Position - Field Construction Superintendent

  • Construction Field Superintendent will oversee the daily construction activities of contractors, foremen, and workers at work sites to ensure projects follow schedules.
  • Manage all fields construction supervisors.
  • Chairing Constructability Review meetings.
  • Coordinates the procurement, delivery, and placement of materials and equipment on-site as required to execute each phase of a construction project.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines.
  • Plan construction processes.
  • Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and report on project progress.
  • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
  • Implement safety and quality guidelines.
  • Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.
  • Keep track of material stock and orders
  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Communicate with the project team and support each contractor / subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently.

Required Skills, Education & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience out of which at least 5 years as Field

Superintendent or

Construction Manager in Oil and Gas fields.

  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
  • Familiarity with CAD software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire
