Job Role:

  • Conduct regular market visits to HORECA outlets to monitor product availability, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop, achieve, and exceed sales volume/revenue goals for the HORECA channel as defined in the Business Plan, while ensuring optimum allocation of resources.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and cafés by negotiating agreements, enhancing product visibility, and ensuring compliance with Trade Marketing budgets.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to ensure HORECA-specific marketing tools, promotional materials, and activations are deployed effectively.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network and routing to guarantee timely deliveries and superior levels of service to HORECA customers.
  • Work closely with Finance & Accounts to ensure timely collections and compliance with financial norms.
  • Implement and monitor promotional activities in the HORECA sector, measure ROI, and provide feedback/reports to the Country Manager.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and develop sales staff specialized in the HORECA channel.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals, gap analyses, and recommend training to strengthen sales team capabilities.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters in alignment with HR policies.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve individual and departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 7–10 years' proven experience in managing HORECA channel sales, preferably within the FMCG/Food & Beverage sector.
  • Established network of key HORECA accounts in Oman (hotels, restaurants, catering companies, cafés) with demonstrable success in building long-term relationships.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share within the HORECA sector.
  • Knowledge of Oman's market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements.
