Job Description
  • Work in close cooperation with the Kitchen, Stewarding, and restaurant cashiers to ensure smooth operation.
  • Conduct or attend regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with departmental SOPs, covering guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, upselling, etc.
  • Report equipment failures or problems to the Maintenance Department.
  • Pass maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
  • Participate in training and development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Ensure the proper appearance (uniform condition) and grooming of assigned staff.
  • Handle guest arrivals and seating through the hostess or take over if unavailable.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with outlet patrons to ensure their well-being.
  • Familiarize yourself with all menus, promotions, and relevant outlet issues (product knowledge).
  • Contribute to maintaining the outlet's database of regular guests.
  • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the supervisor or concerned departments.
  • Resolve guest complaints directly or consult with the supervisor.
  • Perform mise en place work according to service requirements.
  • Prepare store requisitions for signature and ensure accurate delivery of goods.
  • Attend departmental meetings and conduct briefings on behalf of the team, fostering open communication.
  • Be familiar with the outlet's menu and promotional activities.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.
  • Understand and follow Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant company documentation and operational standards manual.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned.
