Job Description

  • Works closely with the Kitchen, Stewarding, and restaurant cashiers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conducts regular training sessions with the team on guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, upselling, etc., in line with departmental SOPs.
  • Reports equipment failures or problems to the Maintenance Department.
  • Passes maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
  • Participates in training and development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Ensures proper appearance and grooming of staff, including uniforms.
  • Handles guest arrivals and seating through the hostess, or takes over if unavailable.
  • Maintains a professional and friendly relationship with patrons to ensure their well-being.
  • Familiarizes with all menus, promotions, and relevant outlet information (product knowledge).
  • Contributes to maintaining the outlet's database of regular guests.
  • Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
  • Resolves guest complaints directly or with supervisor assistance.
  • Prepares mise en place for the entire day's service.
  • Prepares store requisitions for signatures and ensures accurate delivery of goods.
  • Attends departmental meetings and conducts briefings, promoting open communication within the team.
  • Familiar with the outlet's menu and promotional activities.
  • Familiar with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.
  • Adheres to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Familiar with all relevant company documentation and operational standards.
  • Performs any other reasonable duties as required.
