Job DescriptionThe Salesforce team is responsible for the development and configuration of Canonical's Salesforce instance. The team's mission is to deliver a first-class experience to the Sales and business operations teams relying on Salesforce, while maintaining the highest engineering standards at Canonical.
We seek an engineering manager with senior-level Salesforce experience who strives for quality, seeks continuous improvement, and develops their skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead change, leverage the latest Salesforce features and best practices, and keep the Salesforce instance lean and maintainable.
LocationThis role is remote, based in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Improve existing processes, designs, and engineering solutions
- Collaborate on business analysis and technical designs
- Provide Salesforce expertise to business and cross-functional teams
- Deliver engineering solutions leveraging Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related engineering field
- Experience with Salesforce development and integrations
- Experience as a hands-on engineering manager or team lead
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work remotely with diverse teams, remain motivated, productive, and organized
- Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times per year for about a week each time
- Experience in high-level languages such as Go or Python
- Experience in sales, finance, or operations roles
