Cassbana is expanding in Muscat, Oman and looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager – Acquisition to join our team

In this role, you will be at the forefront of Cassbana's growth in Oman — establishing and nurturing relationships with merchants, onboarding new partners, and ensuring they experience the full value of our ecosystem from day one.

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new suppliers and merchants in targeted territories.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through field visits, referrals, and cold outreach.
  • Assess merchant needs and align them with Cassbana's solutions (financing, data tools, etc.).

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with merchants and suppliers to drive loyalty and active engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during onboarding and initial engagement.
  • Gather feedback from the field and relay valuable insights to the product team.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Credit teams to ensure seamless merchant activation.

Market Insights

  • Understand the dynamics of FMCG distribution and informal retail financing in Oman.
  • Identify emerging merchant challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to refine sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in field sales or B2B acquisition, preferably in FMCG or microfinance.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory.
  • Comfortable with digital tools (CRM, mobile apps, Google Workspace).
  • Must be currently residing in Oman.
  • Are currently residing in Oman and have in-depth knowledge of the Omani market.
  • Have experience selling financial products, POS systems, or FMCG goods to small merchants.
  • Understand the informal trade ecosystem and the decision-making process of merchants.
