We are currently looking for a Sales Manager for a client in the events industry based in Oman.

The Sales Manager is responsible for securing sponsorship and revenue in line with the company deliverables, personally committed to playing a pivotal role in bringing the major stakeholders to meet to establish critical goals.

You will be responsible for the execution of B2B sponsorship and sales campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, in addition to having the ability to deliver against multiple projects throughout the year successfully, efficiently and effectively while meeting targets and ensuring a great customer experience.

The Job:

  • Conduct market research to understand the dimensions of vendor and client relationships relevant to target markets, including identifying industry trends while monitoring competitive performance.
  • Business Development – consult with new and existing clients to identify needs, build demand and sell packages to each target market.
  • Develop specified sales plans while coordinating ongoing sales initiatives (online and offline), including campaigns and relationships with relevant external partners.
  • Take full ownership of your allocated clients, revenue targets, new business development and reporting.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure that you are accurately targeting potential customers and clients.
  • Commercially astute – keep updated with current industry trends, including various industry publications relevant to you, assigned for developments and trends in the industry.

Personal Attributes:

  • This role is suitable for a tenacious, driven, solution-finding self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude who is ambitious and hungry for success.
  • Have +3 years of experience in B2B in Commercial Sales.
  • Have technical experience with contract management, budget management, and proposal writing.
  • Capable of upselling opportunities and products.
  • Excellent verbal and written English – other languages will be advantageous.
  • The flexibility to travel, both locally and internationally.
