Purpose of Job:


• Develop, implement, and oversee the company's operation strategies, governance, operating model, objectives, and annual goals to ensure operational excellence and create stakeholder value.


• Monitor hotel operations to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, maximize efficiency in terms of budget and revenue, and deliver financial goals, profitability, business growth, and value to shareholders through sales, marketing, and commercial pursuits.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


• Develop and implement the company's operational strategy, governance, business goals, and operating models aligned with the company's vision and mission.


• Manage and execute operational excellence to meet optimal operational levels, supporting both short- and long-term business objectives. Ensure effective processes and systems for monitoring and controlling operations.


• Establish and implement operational policies, processes, and controls in compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and international standards.


• Collaborate with hotel operators, partners, and stakeholders to build strategic relationships and resolve issues in the organization's best interest.


• Drive operational stabilization, expansion, and growth of existing and new opportunities, aiming to meet market share objectives across all hotels, properties, and services.


• Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets, analyzing financial performance against targets to anticipate costs and revenues.


• Oversee employee performance management, staff engagement, leadership development, training, and competency management to foster a high-performance culture and develop future leaders.


• Ensure adherence to HSE practices to provide a safe and healthy working environment.


• Review hotel operating performance, develop asset management strategies, and establish reporting platforms for hotel performance.


• Analyze hotel product performance and develop turnaround strategies to reestablish hotels as leading properties.


• Initiate brand refresh and expansion plans with the assistance of brand development consultants.


• Lead and monitor the performance and development of hotel senior management teams.


• Support in concept development for new assets such as properties, hotels, and resorts.

Principal Challenges:


• Managing conflicting stakeholder expectations.


• Achieving business and financial targets in a challenging environment.


• Mitigating business risks amid cash flow issues.


• Branding company hotels and their brands effectively.

Minimum Academic / Professional Qualifications:


• BA in Business Administration or a relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus. Broad knowledge of the lodging industry.
