
Property Development Manager

The Real Estate Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the growth, optimization, and development of the company's real estate portfolio. This includes enhancing the value and profitability of existing assets through leasing, renovations, and redevelopment, as well as identifying new investment opportunities. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, external vendors, tenants, and regulatory bodies to ensure efficient property management and long-term growth
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of existing properties (occupancy, rental income, ROI).
- Develop strategies to improve property value and maximize returns.
- Identify potential investment opportunities and conduct feasibility studies.
- Oversee leasing operations, including contract renewals and tenant onboarding.
- Ensure tenant satisfaction by addressing concerns, complaints, and service quality.
- Design and execute marketing strategies to attract new tenants and reduce vacancy rates.
3. Project Oversight
- Supervise renovation, expansion, or redevelopment projects in collaboration with engineers and contractors.
- Ensure timely execution of development projects within budget and quality standards.
4. Operational & Contract Management
- Manage maintenance contracts, facility management providers, and service vendors.
Review and update leasing and property management agreements in compliance with local laws and regulations.
5. Reporting & Market Analysis
Prepare periodic reports on portfolio performance, occupancy rates, and financial results.
Monitor market trends, rental rates, and competitor performance to support strategic decision-making.
6. Internal and External Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) for seamless workflow.
Represent the company in dealings with government entities, municipalities, and regulatory authorities when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in real estate are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in real estate development or property management.
Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and leasing practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
