PreSales Engineer - HPE (Ninja/OCA/HPE Cloud /Info Sight/Product Bulletin)

Base Pay Range

We have an urgent requirement for a Pre-Sales Engineer - HPE (Ninja/OCA/HPE Cloud /Info Sight/Product Bulletin) for one of our clients in Oman.

Candidate Requirements

Candidate should be well-versed with the following HP tools—at least two to three must-have exposures:

  • HPE Ninja
  • One Config Advanced (OCA)
  • HPE Cloud Physics
  • HPE Info Sight
  • HPE Product Bulletin
  • Strong experience in HPE Storage, Brocade SAN Switches, VMware, Veeam/Commvault, Red Hat is a must
  • Extensive experience as a Presales Specialist in data center and enterprise solutions is essential
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and strategic support during pre-sales to delivery stages of customer engagements.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing features and benefits of data center solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and OEM vendors to develop proposals aligned with customer goals.
  • Assess customer infrastructure and requirements, identifying potential technical issues and recommending solutions.
  • Support sales negotiations with technical insights and assistance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge with the sales team.
  • Experience with OEM assessment and sizing tools such as HPE OCA, NinjaSTARS, Solution Sizers, Capacity Planner (LCP), EIPT, HCI, and Backup Sizer is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Communications Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HPE Storage, Brocade SAN Switches, VMware, Veeam/Commvault, Red Hat, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and clients.
  • Relevant certifications such as HPE Master ASE, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Commvault Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Presales Specialist or similar role in data center and enterprise solutions industry.
  • Experience with technical assessments, RFP & Proposal development, presentations, and customer engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with data center operations and management, including HPE Storage, VMware, Red Hat SAN switches, etc.
  • Experience with cloud administration and management.
