As we continue to scale our operations and expand our presence in key international markets, particularly in the GCC region, we are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to join our executive leadership team and drive our revenue growth strategy.

Our ideal Head of Sales will be a strategic sales leader who can navigate the unique challenges of the technology sector while leveraging experience from capital-intensive industries, particularly oil and gas, to build robust sales foundations for sustainable growth. This role represents a critical leadership position that will shape our company's sales future and support our mission to transform industries through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership and Planning


• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals and drive sustainable revenue growth


• Lead annual sales planning, forecasting, and target-setting processes across all market segments


• Create and maintain sales models and methodologies to support strategic decision-making and business planning


• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors to inform sales strategy and market positioning


• Provide strategic sales guidance to Sales and Marketing Manager on major business decisions and market opportunities


• Evaluate and recommend optimal go-to-market strategies for new products and market segments

Sales Operations and Management


• Oversee all sales operations including pipeline management, sales process optimization, and performance tracking


• Implement and maintain robust sales processes, methodologies, and CRM systems


• Manage sales forecasting, quota setting, and territory planning to maximize revenue potential


• Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting and analytics for executive leadership and stakeholders


• Develop and maintain sales playbooks, training materials, and best practice documentation


• Establish and monitor key sales metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators across the sales organization

Team Leadership and Development


• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team including account executives, sales development representatives, and sales engineers


• Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent with experience in technology and industrial sectors


• Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development


• Create and implement comprehensive sales training programs covering product knowledge, sales methodology, and market dynamics


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and results-driven performance


• Mentor team members and support their career growth and advancement within the organization

Client Relationship Management and Business Development


• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key enterprise clients and decision-makers


• Lead complex sales negotiations and close high-value deals with enterprise and government clients


• Develop and execute account management strategies for key clients to ensure retention and expansion


• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and industry verticals


• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build market presence


• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling value propositions and sales materials

Cross-functional Collaboration and Integration


• Work closely with marketing teams to align sales and marketing strategies and optimize lead generation


• Collaborate with product development teams to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap


• Partner with customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term satisfaction


• Coordinate with finance teams on pricing strategies, contract terms, and revenue recognition


• Support legal and compliance teams in contract negotiations and regulatory requirements


• Engage with technical teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and technical feasibility

Technology and Innovation Leadership


• Stay current with technology industry trends, emerging solutions, and competitive landscape


• Evaluate and implement sales technology tools and platforms to enhance team productivity


• Drive adoption of digital sales processes and automation to improve efficiency and scalability


• Support innovation initiatives and new product launches with market insights and sales strategy


• Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to optimize sales performance and decision-making


• Champion customer-centric innovation and solution development based on market feedback

RequirementsRequired Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (required)


• Technical engineering background preferred, particularly in fields relevant to oil & gas or technology sectors

Professional Experience Requirements


• Minimum 10+ years of progressive sales experience with at least 5 years in senior sales leadership roles


• Proven track record as Head of Sales, VP Sales, Sales Director, or similar executive sales positions


• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals


• Experience managing sales teams across multiple markets


• Track record of scaling sales operations in growing organizations

Oil and Gas Industry Experience (Strongly Preferred)


• Substantial experience in oil and gas sector sales, business development, or client management


• Understanding of capital-intensive project sales cycles and complex stakeholder management
• Experience with technical product sales and consultative selling approaches in industrial environments


• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety requirements, and procurement processes in energy sector


• Proven ability to manage long sales cycles (multi-year commitments) and high-value contract negotiations


• Understanding of engineering and technical specifications in industrial sales environments


• Track record of building relationships with enterprise clients in traditional industries
