POSITION INFORMATION

Division: Commercial Department: Marketing & Communication

Role Designation: Assistant Graphic Designer

ROLE PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for creating and communicating ideas that inform, inspire, and captivate customers and stakeholders. Using computer software or by hand, the designer creates production designs and layouts for mediums such as social media, brochures, magazines, corporate reports, and advertisements. The Graphic Designer will assist with Awasr's overall creative needs through planning, designing, and collaborating with the marketing team. The role involves creating, designing, and delivering printed and digital marketing materials to achieve the company's goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Accountabilities
  1. Develop and produce artwork and advertising reflecting Awasr's identity.
  2. Manage design & video campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, including apps and websites.
  3. Collaborate to ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs.
  4. Lead cross-functional design discussions to maintain creative quality.
  5. Act as a creative and brand ambassador to other teams.
  6. Identify emerging design trends and contribute to internal creative discussions.
  7. Utilize design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  8. Ideate brand-led campaigns.
  9. Create eye-catching designs with effective layout and composition.
  10. Manipulate colors, create color palettes, and troubleshoot in Photoshop or Illustrator.
  11. Use typography and color effectively to set the mood and attract attention.
  12. Design and manage marketing collateral, flyers, and social media posts for Awasr.
  13. Leverage social media platforms to showcase work and increase online presence.
  14. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Sales, or Commercial Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience for graduates or 0-1 year for postgraduates.
  • Extensive knowledge of branding systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects; knowledge of other design software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX and component development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Professional Training & Certification
  • Certificate in Marketing Management.
Language Requirements

English and Arabic (both verbal and written) are mandatory.
