Provide coordination and administrative support for the hotel sales team to assist with revenue generation for the hotel and all hotels within the InterContinental Hotels Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare all administrative documents required by the Hotel sales team.
  2. Respond promptly to telephone, fax, and email inquiries.
  3. Coordinate all familiarization visits and site inspections as needed.
  4. Attend monthly sales meetings.
  5. Manage all sales department mail and maintain a correspondence database.
  6. Assist with direct mail campaigns.
  7. Compile weekly statistical reports for the relevant state.
  8. Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic).
  9. Manage and update the database.
  10. Assist with promotional activities and familiarization events as requested.
  11. Organize trade shows, functions, and exhibitions as advised by supervisors.
  12. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and action plans.
  13. Support tender submissions.
  14. Collaborate with other IHG properties and regional sales teams to promote their offerings.
  15. Liaise with advertising agencies.
  16. Control stock of collateral materials.
  17. Execute advertising and creative briefs promptly.
  18. Create artwork and contribute to collateral for flyers and direct mail campaigns; assist with promotional activities for rooms and conferences.
  19. Maintain and update promotional flyers.
  20. Manage stock levels of printed materials.
  21. Coordinate and maintain supplies of corporate gifts and promotional items.
  22. Assist in the development of new products and services.
  23. Support the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans for the hotel.
