WSP Oman is seeking a qualified and proactive Interface Engineer (Omani) to join our dynamic team on the Sohar Port Project.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical and contractual interfaces between various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and integration across all project components.

Your new role, what's involved?

1. Manage and coordinate interfaces between contractors, consultants, client teams, utility providers, and government authorities.
2. Maintain and update the interface register and ensure timely follow-up on all interface actions.
3. Identify, monitor, and resolve interface issues across different project phases (design, construction, commissioning).
4. Facilitate regular interface coordination meetings and prepare minutes and action plans.
5. Review and assess design documents and interface points for potential conflicts or overlaps.
6. Ensure alignment of interface activities with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
7. Support the technical team with engineering assessments and interface reviews.
8. Coordinate the submission and approval of interface-related documents.
9. Provide regular reports on interface status, risks, and mitigation measures to the project management team.
10. Ensure interface activities comply with WSP's HSE and quality standards.
11. Foster strong collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or port-related projects, with a strong background in interface management.
3. Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Strong understanding of project lifecycle, design and construction processes.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, interface tracking tools, and project management software.
6. Fluency in English and Arabic.
7. Must be an Omani national.
