Senior Trade Marketing Specialist (Maternity Cover)

Location: Muscat, Oman

Duration: Maternity Cover (Immediate Start Required)

We are working with a leading FMCG company to recruit a Senior Trade Marketing Specialist for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade marketing within the FMCG industry and must be available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and promotional plans across all relevant channels
  • Drive execution of in-store visibility, merchandising, and activation programs in collaboration with sales and brand teams
  • Analyze shopper insights, market data, and retail trends to support decision-making and campaign planning
  • Ensure alignment between brand objectives and channel execution
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and promotional ROI
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for POS materials and promotional tools
  • Manage trade marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of trade marketing experience in the FMCG sector (this is essential)
  • Strong understanding of shopper marketing, category management, and retail execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with data tools and Nielsen/IRI data is a plus
  • Must be available to start immediately
