Assistant Manager – IT Application

Job Purpose:

Highly motivated IT professional with deep expertise in the stock market domain and working experience with FIT systems components is desirable. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications for robust application development, implementation, and ongoing management. This includes integration components and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.), ensuring system security, performance, and user support.

Job Responsibilities:

Application Systems :

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain FIT system (Fund Management, Asset Management and Brokerage systems, Online and mobile platforms)
  • Integration with Market Data Feed such as Bloomberg, Reuters…etc.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls
  • Implement security patches and updates
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., disk cleanup, backups)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the vendor on the development and implementation of FIT system modules.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support to internal users
  • Document and maintain technical procedures and processes
  • Continuously learn about emerging technologies within the IT field
  • Contribute to cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Take initiative on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a related field, with at least 5 years in FIT System or similar.

Key Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for database programming & oracle Database administration.
  • Familiarity with web development concepts like HTML, CSS,..etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
