
Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Executive to expand the sales of Food service product ranges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by working closely with the channel partner, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategies that increase brand visibility and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth & Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales of the products through existing and new channel partner networks.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Channel Partner Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure alignment on sales goals.
- Monitor partner performance and provide support to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track progress and identify opportunities.
- Market Development:
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for the product ranges.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Training & Support:
- Provide product training and sales support to partner sales teams.
- Ensure product knowledge is up-to-date across all relevant stakeholders.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, forecasts, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, partner activity, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably with FMCG, consumer goods, or imported products.
- Experience in working with channel partners, distributors, or trade partners is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution channels.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Sales volume and revenue growth for imported product lines.
- Number of active and performing channel partners.
- Market coverage and penetration levels.
- Partner satisfaction and engagement scores.
