We're looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Special Events & Promotions Coordinator to plan, promote, and manage exciting events. This role blends event operations with marketing and promotions—perfect for someone who loves bringing people together and making every event a success. This position applies mainly to live events taking place in Hotels within Oman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate special events, parties, and hotel functions from concept to completion.
  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service to encourage repeat business.
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors, and suppliers for setup, delivery, and recovery of event materials.
  • Request, compare, and negotiate vendor quotations to meet client requirements.
  • Research and recommend event technologies and creative solutions.
  • Create event proposals for client acceptance and approval.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive event attendance.
  • Manage social media and marketing efforts for upcoming events.
  • Track and follow up on client payment schedules.
  • Applicants should be current residents of Oman. This position is not open to applicants outside of Oman.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in event coordination, event marketing, or promotions.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and client service skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management and marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing event needs.
