Our client is a leading FMCG company responsible for sales and marketing their branded products in the MENA & Levant regions. Due to aggressive growth, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Development Manager to develop and lead the strategy and development plans across Oman.

  1. Key Accountabilities:
  2. Leading go-to-market strategy
  3. Owning route-to-market plans for impulse, wholesale, and new channels
  4. Owning plans to win in-store with impulse, wholesale, and new channels
  5. Optimizing journey plans according to the route-to-market strategy
  6. Owning the strategy for winning in wholesale
  7. Working closely with regional managers to optimize plans as per regional requirements
  8. Leading in-store plans to ensure complete dominance across stores
  9. Achieving sales and in-store presence objectives
  10. Developing local tactical plans to support regional managers
  11. Owning and tracking asset deployment and execution in close collaboration with regional managers
  12. Leading quarterly by-region performance reviews to provide adequate support
  13. Monitoring market conditions and competitive environments and making recommendations to capture new business opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

">
  1. University degree in Business administration or related studies
  2. 5 years of general trade sales experience in an FMCG MNC
  3. Extensive experience working with key regional retailers
  4. Experience in new business development
  5. Strong analytical thinking
  6. Team player and leader with strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
  7. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  8. Well-structured, focused, and setting clear priorities
  9. Ability to think strategically and creatively
  10. Fluent in English
