Electrical Supervisor Role

About the Role
  • Assist in Training and Supervision:
    • Support engineering hosts in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Plan and implement procedures to ensure a proactive engineering department.
    • Compile monthly consumption reports for heat, light, power, electricity, gas, steam, and water.
  • Performance Monitoring and Team Management:
    • Monitor productivity, utilization rates, and manage host activity accordingly.
    • Advise the Engineering Manager on downtime or delays in task completion.
  • Quality and Safety:
    • Maintain working areas and ensure cleanliness at all times.
    • Use personal safety gear while on duty.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Uphold hospitality guidelines and standards of service and operation.

    • Ensure seamless operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Engineering Excellence:
    • Develop and maintain technical skills to design projects and maintain knowledge of engineering-related products and services.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve operational efficiency and quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent and/or apprenticeship in electrical disciplines is required.
    • At least 2 years' experience in a similar setting in luxury hotels with proven results.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Analytical skills to design projects and maintain knowledge of engineering-related products and services.
    • Confidence with numerical scales in geometric shapes, patterns, and ability to interpret correctly.
  • Language and Communication:
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
    • Ability to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel solo.
